Microsoft Send Memo Letter to Their Employee Not to Use iPhone, For This Reason?

Microsoft once again sends a memo to all their employee in China not to use an Android phone but instead use an iPhone.

According to a new report Starting in September this year, all Microsoft employees will require its China-based employees to use iPhones for work and block Android devices from accessing corporate resources.

This move from the company is a part of a global security upgrade, ensuring all staff in their company to use the Microsoft Authenticator and Identity Pass apps.

But, due to Google’s service restrictions in China, these apps are available only through Apple’s App Store.

Microsoft aims to protect against state-sponsored hacking, offering iPhone 15s to affected employees.

This shift underscores the fragmented Android ecosystem in China and the geopolitical tensions influencing technology policies.
